I need some help here. I just recently went back to ics to reroot and I am trying to update back to jelly bean. When I try to download the 0.7.2 update it says an error occurred and try again later. Does anyone have the 6 mb update file I can download so I can update manually? I've flashed with matts utility three times now always wiping and it still gives the same error.

oh wait, you're looking for the incremental update in between 0.6.25 and 9.1.41? That's an interesting one. What does it say when you ask it to check for an update?

The only thing I could suggest would be to use the fastboot files to flash JB to the phone as opposed to taking the update OTA. Those can be found

Thought about that but the whole reason I downgraded was to root. If I use those I lose root.

Did you check your cache directory and see if there was anything there. If there is try deleting the files and try the system update again.

someone messed with those uploads in that section. I dont know why there was ones labled JB root. But next question. Why not fastboot flash the 0.7.2 FB files? Then root and then take the JB ota (if your phone even lets you).

That would be great. I haven't found an sbf for 0.7.2. Only 0.6.25 and 9.1.41

Yeah that's what I'm hoping for lol. I'm kick my own rear end for deleting it last month. I normally hold onto all those files but figured it was only 6 mb so wouldn't be a problem downloading again lol.

Yeah the jb sbf files can be flashed with rsd lite through fastboot. I haven't had any luck finding the patch yet.

tried to flash jb, and it failed in rsd, so i tried to reflash ics again, and now, it boots up, but like if i try and factory reset or boot up normally, it stays at the s/w update screen/factory reset screen. if i press both vol buttons it says formatting data.. but won't change from that.... help!!!! lol

also there's no progress bar, it pops up for less than a second right as it boots to the screen, but then disappears
