I have a droid razr and can't get screen to rotate. Please help.
If you're using the stock JB launcher, go to System Settings>Display and make sure "Auto-rotate screen" has a check box.
The launcher itself will not rotate though. You would have to edit framework-res.apk to enable that by decompiling the apk then going to res>values then open the "bools.xml" file to enable screen rotation.

I just want apps to auto rotate I don't care if the home screen rotates. I tried the app above and it won't work.

I got one of those accelerometer apps and they didn't show anything. What does this mean?

I just want apps to auto rotate I don't care if the home screen rotates. I tried the app above and it won't work.
That program makes ANYTHING and EVERYTHING on the phone rotate. Sounds like you have auto-rotate disabled in the phone's accessibility menu. If so.... it will override the program.

Be hard to say without knowing what program you used. Probably means nothing.

After a year and half of having my razr, i was having no problems till i got the recent software update. Got a replacement "like new phone" still having touble thought, because my home screen wouldnt rotate, but apps would. I downloaded this app and now its working again.. THANK YOU!!!

No resets will work. Thought I was going to have to get a new phone. Fixed by recalibrating gyroscope. Easy to do, download a free bubble level app from the play store and follow the simple instructions for calibrating. Only thing that worked and I'm so glad cuz it was so frustrating!
