I'm new to the Razr game. Ive just did a Sim change out from the Gnex and im looking to root the Razr now. I used Wugfresh Root tool kit for the Gnex and I'm looking for something as easy as that if i can. I have limited access to a computer (at work Only) thats why i try to keep it simple. Anyway i appreciate the help. I also see some ways to root but not sure if its for most recent updates and is it all in one so im ready to go and start flashing roms.

Try motofail,easy and works great.

Motofail is the only way to root 2.3.6. Google "Motofail Root" and you'll find it, or you can download Matt's utility and have the utility push Motofail.
