Very interesting. It mentions a data error and when I flashed in I got no service. Any one know why? I would love stock 4.2 on my device if someone more experienced could getting this to a usable base. Aiming with standard root acess and cell service would be nice

That's more like a side project for dhacker. Its a work in progress that's why there is no data yet

OK.  Now that we finally have BT and 4.2.2 ROMs working (Yea!!), I've got one really nagging issue that I hope someone has a fix for ...

 

How do i STOP auto-start of music playing when the phone pairs with my car system!!  It has done it with every 4.2.2 ROM I have tried.  If I have the car stereo on and then enable BT on my phone, all is good.  But if I already have BT enabled on the phone, it just starts playing music as soon as the phone auto-pairs with the system.  AUTO-PLAY is disabled on the car stereo (Ford MyTouch Sync).  I've Googled and it seems that I am not the only one experiencing this issue -- several others with various audio systems are experiencing the same thing.  On CM10 w/ Apollo, the Apollo player starts playing.  Tried disabling Apollo and then it auto-started stock Player,  Geez.  I don't want to disable all my music players!!

 

Any uber-geniuses got it sorted out?

Also -- anyone heard anything about Hydrogen ROM?  I understand it is certainly one to keep an eye out for.  Hopefully a DEV here is keeping close watch and is eager to port to XT926 once it is ready!!

I'm looking for fast and stable... I believe everything is working right? Oh, and the ability to turn the charge light off, AOKP lacked that and it bothered me for no valid reason.

Been trying pretty much every 4.2.2 ROM for my droid RAZR maxx HD and I can't get any connection from my network at all.. This is only on the 4.2.2 roms .. Every 4.1.2 custom ROM I try it works (I'm guessing since there stock based) it seems I'm literally the only person having this problem and its ruing my life lmao

Any help would be appreciated! I'll donate money for a fix haha

You might need to change the "network mode" under "wireless & networks>more...>mobile networks."

I hope this post isn't too old to answer my question, but I recently upgraded to a MAXX HD and it is on the most recent update. I am rooted, but realize I can't unlock the bootloader. What are my options for custom recovery and ROMS? It looks like almost everything requires an unlocked bootloader. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yeah you kinda missed the boat on that one. I believe someone is working on some roms for safe strap that would be your only option for now. If your rooted you can still get rid of all the bloat but no customization.

You can use Motochopper v1.1 to root and load SafeStrap to run custom ROMs.  However, most of the SS ROMs aren't supported anymore and most of them are the older system version.  You can run them with the update, but you'll run into kernel related issues like being unable to open your gallery, etc.

This is a subject that I approach early on and have not gotten much response.  I believe you can try any of the stock based roms and hit or miss with them.

I realize I can't unlock at this point and run any type of custom or kernel. I wouldn't mind running a cleaned up stock based ROM though. Any suggestions? And what recovery can I install? Sorry for all the questions i'm just not finding anything specifically for what i'm trying to do. Thanks!

You will need to use SafeStrap for recovery.  It is not a true recovery, but it is as close as you can get being locked.

You can try and download safestrap then find some old safestrap roms most of them were for stock 4.1.2 but since you got OTA m8ght be a problem with kernels. If you can get safe strap then just go for it in safe mode you should be ok if they will work
