hi,

"On a side note. Man the battery life on this ROM is killer!!!! Overclocked to 1300 even! OG RAZR by the way, not the Maxx
"
=> thats true !! my phone battery just holds a 3/4 day, without much "playing"... with 2.3.6 the battery was still at ~ 60% after a day

regards
steve

I gotta say man, this build in my opinion, is completely flawless. I had a little hiccup at the beginning that was quickly fixed and that was it. This seems so much snappier than the leak man. I'm gonna be throwing some beer money your way as soon as I can get spare some.

Just so everyone knows, I came from the leak and this build is completely better! You guys need to show some thanks to these devs for everything they're doing. Even if it's sending a couple bucks, or just clicking the "Like" button in the OP. Do something though, don't just get on here and download and only post if you have issues. I used to be a dev for the HTC Eris and the OG Droid so I know what all goes into this, but now with ICS ROMs it's 100 times harder and more complex so I just think some appreciation is deserved.

Again, very very very nice job on this ROM andlaw, I can honestly say that I won't be going back to the leak now. Thank you for such a great build and you can expect that beer money soon. (Maybe shave ice money? lol whatever you want to spend it on).

Hicks! I didn't know you had a Razr...small world. If Hicksauce says this build is flawless, I may just have to check it out. :D In the meantime, I'm just stealin ur darkappz hehe.

So 4G data is working? That's why I couldn't use Gummy...Not paying to have a 4G phone to not have 4G.

Well, I realized about .3 seconds after flashing the zip that the "404" probably meant "for android 4.0.4" and I'm currently running Eclipse...which is Ginger$#!+--errbread...so, we'll see how that goes.

Answer: Not that well.

So if I reflash the gingerbread gapps from goo.im will that undo any horrific things I may have just done?

Just followed your instructions to the T using Safestrap 1.09. Everything looks great, feels great, but I keep losing data connectivity. I watched your Youtube vid on changing from GSM to GSM/CDMA. But when I first opened the phone info, it was already on gsm/cdma. Any ideas? Thanks!

Edit: It just rebooted itself a couple times in the last half hour, I now have data connectivity and am now able to delete my Eclipse rom!

The only thing this ROM needs I'd the camera and video camera working. Other than that freaking awesome

Yessir! As long you get the data toggle to work in your favor like I did you will not be disappointed.

Quick question about battery life. Got 7 hours on a full charge and I am at 18%. I do use it for Pandora at work.A lot....

Mediaserver is 31% of my battery drain, that is from Pandora correct?

it rebooted itself? which phone do you have.. and if you happen to boot and go into Phone Info and it is already on GSM/CDMA you would then toggle it to GSM only, wait for the signal to show grey bars, when the grey bars show up that is when you will toggle it back on to GSM/CDMA auto PRL. if you do this correctly, data should connect right up. and another way around having to toggle, to get your data back; it takes sightly longer to boot, and can be a hastle, but if you want data!! reboot into recovery and simply wipe cache and dalvik, then reboot system and you should have data when it boots up!

If its the first or 2nd charge, i wouldnt be particularly worried about it, as the first couple drains can be pretty fast even without using, but as you said, you were using Pandora which can chew through juice quickly, and with the ROM settling in i would be pretty sure that could be the reason it was drained so quickly.

Yeah it'd reboot itself if I tried to open something I haven't opened after flashing the rom. Ie, internet, camera or market. But Ive had this rom for the past couple hours, data has been connected this whole time and hasn't rebooted once! Silky smooth!

I even went to exchange my case for a new one at Go wireless, one of the workers noticed my OS isn't stock and asked if I was rooted. I said yes, and proceeded to show off my phone. I'm now rooting his phone and installing your OS haha.

Mediaserver is basically processes that involve playback of music, videos, and sometimes apps accessing data over the network. You say you play a lot of Pandora recently? that would be my guess as to what is causing the drain.

Thanks, i just wanted to make sure mediaserver was used by pandora, and not something else.

I also noticed a bit of a drain, so I downloaded battery saver by antutu. It's been sitting at 76% for the last hour with music and whatnot playing.

Is anyone else unable to purchase apps from the store? I can download free ones all day long. Errors pop up when i try to purchase an app. It's no big deal, as I can just download what I need and transfer it to the phone. Just curious.

The only thing I noticed with battery saver is that it disables data after Pandora fully buffers a song so I usually get a long pause between songs.

I used to have no problem downloading apps with BW but I think it started having trouble when I reflashed with the 404 gapps.... I didn't even think about downloading on the comp and transferring over. Haha

Oh and I had an issue with the store before and deleting the stores cache and data made it work again

Yeah I flashed with 404 gapps. If I get impatient I'll try deleting the cache and data. Thanks for the tip!

Ok, the Rom is running great. No Problems BEFORE flashing the DGTalk. Stuck on BootLogo after flashing. Problem: Won't boot in CWM, so RSD is already running :D
But i'll flash it right after Root again, without GTalk

Do we have to rename the *.rar to *.zip or is *.rar also flashable?
