The shot today included charges out of my frame since I hadn't watched where the Austin Powder folks were working...my bad.

Welp, it finally caught up with me...
Kicked up a rock under my car driving around the site yesterday that managed to find (and split open) a brake line.
$200 to fab and install, should get the car back late this afternoon.
That and one flat tire way back in May...guess that's fair.

An update! Turns out the brake line was rusted out just above the exhaust system (heat contributed?) and the repairs were only $12 for some 3/16" tubing and the labor was rolled into the oil change I asked for.
Whew!

Got a bit behind the last couple days with the 4.4 update to my Moto X...on Monday Austin Powder set off some small local charges along the freeway to prepare for the utility trenches for the Cabelas building slab.

This shot caught me by surprise (again!) but I just jabbed the button and caught some of it. The shelf created by the dozer and loader pushing material over the edge recently will be loosened by this shot.

Today the shot was part way down the road from the top that has been cut off on both ends...a stub will remain after this shot. And watch the orange barrels!

THe shear that cut up the old tower is back to remove concrete/re-bar from the old quarry pit and the local utility has set 3 power poles to run in the construction power...final power for all the buildings will come in underground.

After the recent rain the crew had to disc in two truckloads of lime for the final lifts on the Cabelas pad and set up lights to keep working. I wasn't awake for this but got this pic from those who were!

The first major shot since before Thanksgiving, after several small localized shots for utility trenches,etc. This shot was over 100 holes, 30 feet deep and seems to have moved lots of material down onto the main level, but not too near the Cabelas slab. That slab was officially deeded over to Cabelas nearly a week early, which pleased both Cabelas and the City!

Two shots today during the same Freeway stoppage...the first was down low out of sight from the road to the warehouse to clear the way for some utility trenching. The second was set at the remaining top level, moving material down onto the next lower shelf. Will post some Before/After pics later...it's time for supper before the Christmas Parade!
