I'm trying to restore my razr to 6.12.173 using the droid RAZR utility and its saying that I need to enter AP Fastboot mode before I can do the restore. I haven't even been able to find an answer on google. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.
What system version are you running?

Did you ever get it all figured out?

Yeah, sorry for not responding. I was able to boot into fastboot mode and then use the utility to restore back to 6.12.173. Installed ICS after and its been running smooth like butter ever since.

For future reference to anyone that doesn't know... if you're on your ready to use the utility or any other reason yiu need to get to fastboot... an easy adb command is "adb reboot-bootloader" gets you straight to fastboot... and youre already plugged in! Lol

You saved my butt with this. My volume keys stopped working so I couldn't get in to fastboot back to stock the normal way before sending it back for a warranty replacement. I could soooo see VZW denying a hardware defect warranty claim because a phone was rooted *facepalm*
