Running the leaked ICS, my own debloat, ADW EX. Pretty cool all around.

A few days ago I started to get a screen flicker: Open app - use the app - use back button to close the app - home screen appears - flickers for a split second - then the rest of the icons appear. Happens all the time, all screens, both default and adw launchers. etc. I removed widgets, etc. trying to make it stop, no good.

I decided to return to my "virgin" back up of ICS, but then on the way, decided to just do cache/dalvik wipe and reboot.

I did this and the flicker is gone. Any input as to why this worked (other than I just cleared out some garbage)?

Should I need to to do this? Or, is something broke?

I've noticed I need to reboot my phone quite a bit more often to clear everything out, so maybe moto doesn't have ics managing it's cache as effectively and it just gets bogged down.

Keep in mind that ICS is still fairly new for moto. Release versions usually are in the 100's somewhere before they hit live. Right now they're in the 70's and 80's.
