No you can't downgrade, in the op specifically stating this. not to mention the massive $#!+ storm that has ensued. pay attentionTo obtain this, I just need to be on .181 stock, yes?
Also: can I downgrade back if I decide to?
Thanks,

With the .75 file can I downgrade off of it to than receive the real ICS when it releases?

I think they call this fraud.Lucky, lucky me. I flashed the 84 build and like a complete retard tried to fb back to 181. As we all know I soft bricked. I got the system back and everything ran great til today. It turned of and would not come back no matter what I tried. So I decided to take it into a Verizon store to and tell them the 181 caused the problem. They said oh yeah that's been happening all week. I will have a new phone in the mail tomorrow. I have learned my lesson on leaks. MSN it's hard bring a crack flasher. At last I'm getting a new phone out of it.

SmaI'm just going to wait then. What are the chances of the real ICS for razr releasing May 17th? (according to "leak" from Verizon)

For some it may not be so bad.....the new bootloader is gonna come with the ota anyway why else would it be on the last two leaks? So gb will be gone for anyone's phone who ota the ics. Once we have the fastboot files for ics we can get back on track.....and ill be honest...I love. 84 granted even though i flash stuff everytime i can i wouldn't have if i would have known about going back...Seems like this thread should be closed. A lot of people who are totally clueless are still deciding that installing .84/.85 sounds like a good idea.

.but for the first time since getting my razr i have 4g.....cant tell if it is related to the new kernel or not.....but never had 4g on gb before......weird lol anyway im not endorsing flashing this....do it at your own risk. And stop reading just the last few posts! Read the thread to answer simple questions.

We are not sure that this bl version will be the same as the OTA. It might be, and it might not be. At this point that's all speculation.
And IF it's possible to piggyback an OTA on a forced 181 system, then we may be able to update the BL in recovery anyway (since it'll obviously be included in the update pkg)
Some good may come of this after all...
Well said my friend.

I have an 0A.74 bootloader. Dunno if that's of any use, but yeah.
EDIT: I'm on .84.

But the bootloader isn't the problem, the old bootloaders flash just fine, it's just that the partition table isn't compatible with GB's.

I'm not looking for layman's. I can literally go back and manually flash an old BL. The fail during RSD is on two files related to partitioning and the locations of data, basically. ICS's update changed the size of chunks of data and we can't put it back.Agreed...u would think rsd could overwrite the new bl with the old one.....the rom did so why not? But in layman's terms new bl means bye bye gb...

Absolutely not; in that case it IS the locked bootloader, because those are signed with "test-keys" and not "release-keys".Interesting. I thought it was the bootloaders were incompatible with our fastboot files. Is the engineering build posted to XDA of any use to us?

cdt.bin isn't related to the bootloader, so I don't see how the bootloader is the issue, especially since I can go and flash a previous one without a problem...unless you're talking about the use of the developer fastboot files? The bootloader is the issue. No those engineer files will not do anything without a developer edition RAZR.
