I do miss the Razr for a few things. It's a great phone. If it was as "open" as the GNex, it would top the industry.

+1.. YES that bootloader plays a major role in that...imo

Mine is ABSOLUTELY going to replace my RAZR for me. I'm giving my RAZR to my fiancee. I am leaving Moto for good. I can no longer stomach their blatant disregard and lack of respect for their user base. We are not every single customer, but we are significant.

I just can't sit idle and allow the precedent to br set that companies have no respect for their users. Size is no excuse. Google is many times larger than Motorola, but yet Google listens, at times exclusively, to their users.

I would honestly deal with a phone with weak radios than support a company like Motorola a day longer. I have attended many of Motorola's Android sessions and the answers are all the same. They are only interested in appealing to the enterprise market. Unlockable bootloaders do not compromise security, and Moto knows it. Only because the ignorant enterprise purchasing powers would interpret it as an additional security risk do they continue to market encrypted bootloaders as a FEATURE. They KNOW that an encrypted and locked bootloader is equally as secure as a securely unlockable bootloader which requires an OEM unlock tool using encrypted keys. They just don't do anything about it for fear that it will be perceived improperly and will thereby lose market share to Apple in the enterprise game.

All I have to say is...

Hello Samsung.

(In that roboto voice reminiscent of the "hello Moto" days)

It's amazing how much easier it is to mod than my Razr. I enjoy seeing that unlocked icon on boot and I had no idea that ROM Manager was so useful.

Good to see you enjoying the phone.

I actually really like it up here. Vancouver is pretty cool. I would never get any work done during snowboarding season and fly fishing season if I lived here though lol

Gracias! Yeah seriously... on my way to Vegas now for work. Ever since they figured out that I'm an SEO / secret Google ninja at work I've been all over the damn place haha but they've also given me 2 rasies in 3 months without me even asking so I'm down with that lol
