Except for the camera. The camera works but they could have bought the Omnivision 8 camera that apple uses in the 4s instead of whatever that camera they are using in the maxx. Even if it costs $10 more I would have gladly paid that. What is wrong that motorola can design such a great phone and skimp on the camera. Maybe that is why motorola is losing money. The board should fire the CEO. I will probably buy the iPhone 5 and pay full retail so I can have a superior camera. Yes I know it's only a phone but I like the idea of having a great camera with me all the time.

I agree I love my maxx more then my 4s. However the camera speed and lighting is not as good by any means. the maxx has a potentially great camera if you are taking still pictures and mess with the settings were as the iPhone was a great point and shoot.

I did a side by side video comparison between my maxx and my iPad 3 which has the Omnivision 5 camera which is used in the iPhone 4. The iPad 3 video was much better but the maxx video was useable but there better cameras out there so why not use the best?

Does your car have the best of every single detail?? If it does then you probably have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on it. Gotta cut corners somewhere.

Agreed... the camera takes great pics in certain conditions.. but the majority of the time it takes a lousy picture under or overexposed and blurry especially if there's any movement....top it off with a lot of lag and its frustrating taking pics unless everything is ideal....

I'd rather have a .3mp camera on Android than run iOS with a 5mp any day.
Sure cameras are nice. Look at HTC's One X. Its got great picture quality. Apparently the rumored Razr HD is supposed to have the same quality camera as the 4S but at 13mp and a 720p screen. Just wait and pay full price for that.

@OP Not sure why you would put up with iOS only for a slightly better camera. That would be the LAST phone I would buy, even blackberry would rank above iPhone in my book.

IOS is not so bad. I have 2 ipads. I like the idea of a liquid metal case. But I may go with the fighter if it ever comes out.
