I would use titanium backup to remove one of the messaging apps or you can disable the notifications on one of them. This happened to me too and what it is is that the theme also installs the blur messaging app.

Man I love the colors and icons of Urban but there are problems. The theme installs a full set of duplicate apps like contacts, e-mail, txt etc. These interfere with the good functionality of the OS and I do get FCs (email, google voice) or duplicate notifications (txt and native e-mails). I'm not the one to complain but I'd love to at least be told in the OP what to do with the duplicates. The versions of these apps that come with the theme are older than the ones I have in the ROM (artctic214rv2). Is it better to leave the ROM's ones (newer) or the Urban's ones (older)?

The reason of the dupe apps is because artic replaces some blur apps with aosp. My themes are for blur based roms. You can use titanium to remove or freeze. Or you can use theme porter to port the theme to your current rom. I don't mind if is ported.

So I've got the Ikream ROM installed and IKandee theme on top. Everything works fine.
Question: I want another battery mod (one listed in the OP) am I going to lose the new toggle icons coming from Ikandee?

What does the .215 theme (the second one in the OP) do? From what I can tell in the screen shot it looks the same as the stock Ikream ROM. Thanks.

It adds some other stuff, black bg in settings,contacts,dialer and jb animations etc...

Some people have been reporting that Ikandee is still showing .214 on the system information. Is the link in the OP still the old one? I personally use Urban and it displays .215 and the proper kernel date with no issues.

Just thought I would bring it up since a few people have asked about it in the chat room.

I'm honestly starting to dislike having this Droid razr maxx. Before this, I had to iphone which sucks, htc evo 4g, the samsung galaxy 2, a k a the epic. And then the evo 3d. I get bored very easily, and I'm constantly wanting to change roms and themes and kernels, I guess I'm a flashaholic! I know that the developers don't favor this phone because of the locked bootloader and I'm grateful for those who have made roms, themes, workarounds, root, etc, but it just seems that there isn't any consistency. Then again, I just joined verizon 2.5 months ago and I've had this phone for that duration. If sprint had their lte network up and running I would have never switched to big red. All the stuff I've been reading about them and changes they are trying to make are making me regret signing that 2 year contract. Sure, there 4 g is second to none. But they know it so they try to change s*** at will whenever they can, because they can.

pitbull, copy the activation link to your browsers address bar, erase the \index.php part from it(leave the rest), and click go. you're account will validate then
