I am still getting the "sim toolkit" popup non stop and WiFi shut down and I cant get it back on, haven't flashed Google apps yet cause its taking forever to download lol
but so far everything else seems to be fine for me... getting closer! .gif)

I'm also getting the SIM toolkit message. When trying to setup Google Play, it keeps force closing. This definitely looks like a cool ROM to play with, and I would love to try it out if I can get past these errors. Thanks for the work.

Yeah, it wasn't much of a problem, just a persistent pop-up box that I need to click out of. However, not being able to sync my Google account or restore my apps is a little bit of an issue.

Figured it out...I was using GAPPs designed for 4.2.2, not the older ones designed for 4.1.2. Sorry to blame it on you, it appears this was user error.

just tested this build but when I get a text message i get the notification but when I go to the messaging app, the messages are just blank.

Okay...So I finally got it up and running...Apparently I really am a n00b as the name suggests :-/ lol Anyways...Love, Love, Love it, except for the annoying SMS pop up obviously, but I will definitely ride this one out with you Love the ROM and love MIUI, can't wait for a fix
P.S gapps20121011 is still downloading! Have no idea why it's taking me so long, but oh well

Any work around for the "sim toolkit" ,default message, no/yes?
Shows up all the time.
Deleting stk.apk breaks data.
Also speedtest : only at 3g or less.
I am on VZW.
I flashed the Bytecode kernel.
Works better maybe.
Edit No. I went back to the Miui kernel.
Just amazing!!
Readable status bar.

Just flashed the update. No apps will download. Keep getting cannot connect to server error. Any thoughts?

just meant this is the 2nd build of this ROM. I flashed the previous one and then this one. So to me it is an update. Are you having any issues on this ROM?How did you get the update?

If you guys can suggest good kernels that you normally enjoy I will modify them for use with MIUI, results do vary and some kernels are certainly better than others for it
