Just put in a 3700 battery and battery apps see the correct percentage but the phone does not.  used app to re calibrate and charged 100% while off then turned on, still have the same issue.  get to 60% real battery and the phone thinks it has 15% and starts shutting things off and acting quirky.  Running carbon rom (though that should not be the issue) and there is not setting for battery type etc..  There has to be somewhere in a file the settings for min max voltages for the battery that can be edited to fix this,, looked and not being a dev of any sort had no luck.

any ideas?    p.s. I have already tried free and paid apps to do the dirty work but the ones that see it right do not edit the system and the others see it the same way as the phone and also do not edit the phone side.

thanks for any help.

I just ignore the phone battery percentage and look at the voltage.

I think it was just a shifty thing moto did to try and force you to buy OEM replacement batteries only.

I'm from the internet and so can you!
