Best thing is that 206 picks up better 4g for me. In fact everything runs slightly better than the 84 I came from. Battery life on 4g all day has been comparable to what I was swing on 3g mainly on 84. All good here!

So technically this method should work for and ICS from here up as long as we have the boot.img from the updated build?
In the progress of doing so right now! Huge thanks Matt!!

So i gave it a shot last night, ran through the 1.6 and it started rebooting afterwards after a couple fails. I reset back to fastboot and pushed the .206 kernal, then went into stock recovery and applied update from external. It gave me a fail with something about blockbuster apk missing, ran again and gave me a failed mount, then kept giving me the fail due to mount issues. My phone boots up to the m logo, then just goes to a black screen. Im re downloading Matts 1.6, Im thinking sinceI downloaded it in the beginning of May it might have not had the .181 fastboot files. If theres something else I might be missing, feel free to let me know! I got 4 more hours til the utility downloads.....

Curious, is the white on white widget list fixed in 206?

I successfully upgraded to .206, however i never got the option to log into the google account on setup. i tried doing it in device setup, but there's no option for it. i'm reinstalling .206 again to see if that fixes it.

Also, has anyone else had issues with the Home button not working? I feel the haptic feedback but it doesn't take me back to the home screen.

It's probably not going to be fixed because you're supposed to add widgets from the app drawer, not by pressing on the homescreen. That's an ICS feature.

The white on white its just with nova and apex isn't ? Because they should fix it for those that do not want to root their phones.

No need to reinstall. That option has been taken out of the setup process. At least for the to razrs that I've bumped up to 206.

I assume moto deliberately removed it which makes sense to me. If a customer buys an Android, why should they be forced to open a google account? Now they don't have to.

Yep, Go on 84, if it didn't happen in 85 perhaps it won't in 206. It's no biggie. I only setup my widgets once and you can still read it if you press on the item and then swipe a tad. This would just highlight it for a brief second, but wouldn't select it as you would scroll instead.

Good catch with the missing cdma only. I had not noticed yet because i am currently in a 3g area only. But i travel to a 4g area every other week and i would always switch to cdma only to conserve battery if i didn't need the extra speed.

Not having cdma only is very disappointing and now makes me wish i would have stayed on an earlier ics leak.

I had this same dissapointment. Someone suggested to get "Phone Info" app from the playstore.(Sorry I forgot the name of the good Samaritan) I downloaded it, used the option for gsm/cdma auto, and BAM, no more LTE. Great call. I am now super stoked about being on 206.
