I've had an issue after flashing 4.3 roms and getting rom fully booted up I do a normal reboot and it hangs at the red moto m and I have to format data and wipe and reflash rom and gapps before it will boot past the red m. I'm using TWRP 2.5.5.0 I have also tried using the latest cwm and ouhds recoveries still get the same thing. Could u tell me what I'm doing wrong or is this a problem known

I had this problem when trying to flash cm 10.2/4.3

So you're not alone. I wasn't able to figure out the problem, either.

Wish I could figure out what is happening because I would like to keep this rom loaded as my DD but as soon as I reboot I will have to start from scratch which is very annoying. But I wouldn't be a crack flasher if it bothered me too much

What's the recommended recovery to be used with 4.3 roms? I'm still trying to figure out what the problem is I'm having with 4.3 roms.

After flashing 3 times, I finally got it working right. I like it, it's pretty nice.

While typing this, it froze up on me for about ten seconds. First problem I've had (since the problems I had before this last flash).

I got to try active notifications, and it's alright, but I'd rather stick to the notification lights.

I'm still not really sure the difference between 4.2 and 4.3, though.

I guess I'm just going to give up on 4.3 roms and just stick with 4.2.2 roms. I have been flashing roms 4 years and never ran into this kind of problem. It must be the device itself because I have tried flashing every which way you can possibly flash a rom and still get the same results. :(
