It does, but it is not the supported method. If you brick during bootstrap installation you'll have to fastboot back, but with safestrap you just reflash it.When will aokp/cm9 support bootstrap?

If you brick the part of the system that will load bootstrap on boot then obviously you cant restore a nandroid. Also camera was fixed in version 1.4. Data will not be stable until official O ta because there are at least 6 leak versions and making data work for each one all at the same time just isn't going to happen. Yes it will be fixed when it comes.well i flashed it in bootstrap to test and it booted fine but camera does not work for me and i lost data upon boot. i know it isn't a supported method but i still don't see a reason why the devs are against bootstrap? you just install cwm on boot and your good to go, you can restore a nandroid in case you go into a bootloop or whatever. guess im stuck on stock for now.
i do have a question though about the data on the roms. do you think once we get the offcial ics the data drops will go away?
