I actually prefer the app drawer...ITS The first mod I install after flashing miui.....its a part of miui.us by default...miui android doesn't have it or the toolbox....but not just your ROM...miui default theme has an iOS look. This has been a long time misunderstanding...not just with your ROM.

Oh, I see what you're saying now; It must be additional mod I've never used it; would you prefer I use a MIUI.us base?

I prefer miui.us....but I don't want to tell u how to do things...this is your ROM..and your doing great work...we used miui.us for our port on the photon..I was just the theme guy....mainly because it had more options... Ie toolbox...and it was translated better... But its been months since I've been involved in research.....my photon/electrify had a huge miui following..... Its worth checking out....but I'd respect your final decision as u see fit. Peace Byte Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2

I'm interested in experiencing it too, I'll for sure use a MIUI.us revision for the next MIUI version-up.

I don't know when that will be though honestly, I prefer to be high when I do work because It helps with my patience so I guess whenever I'm able to really grab will be when I get work done like that haha

Edit: I'll write a tutorial in the future about how to use this rom in general to cover basic issues people have, like browser and root settings and so on and international MMS

When I flash this ROM it doesn't detect my sim card. It works fine with the older 4.1.2 release. Not sure if I'm missing or doing something wrong.

Give it time, on first boot it takes a while for Sim to be detected but it should be ok

Just took your latest miui for a test drive...very smooth...bravo man...great job.....only issue I had was no NFC......will this be added anytime?

Also miui.us turned into chaos.....so it's just miui China and miui android left.

Peace

Disregard quote box above. Enjoying the rom. Titanium Backup freezes during batch restore though. Thoughts anyone?

I'd honestly stay away from tb...... Unless thosebapps where backupd from a miui ROM......it will cause u issues...however batch restore worked fine for me....but an app corrupted my ROM.....so of stay away from tb....and use miui backup program....
IMO restoring apps from different Roms is a bad practice and will most likely result in a headache

I use the 'Black Android v5' for this rom to get crazy battery life out of it btw, because of our screens it saves a lot of battery; any black theme does

I've been porting buuf since I got my first android.....I enjoy taking advantage of our hi res screens....buuf first started as a miui theme report....but has grown into being rebuilt from ground up...and not just a miui theme....its followed me from ROM to ROM...and now has its own aroma installer and uses vrtheme engine or I have the new miuiv5 version I'm about to re-release....I hate the boring halo themes and simple graphics.....I'm no expert themer but I know a thing or two Peace Byte Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2

I put my CM10.1 base to good use, I've been yelled at by the folks at MIUI.en to do faster work but I felt It was way more important to build a new base before trying to version-up MIUI on this phone, nobody wants to use a kernel from last july so sorry about being bad with a new revision folks :X

updated, because of my new situation I'll probably be able to update this as soon as Xiaomi does, so I will update without announcement unless It's a highly suggested flash, this is one of those times.

This versionup has resolved all gfx glitches like the stuff in statusbar and resolution issues
