I have been having a lot of trouble with my bionic.A little while ago it lost all signal, so I thought it was something I did. It would reboot after 3 mintutes of no signal. So I tried flashing it again I used the house of bionic method 246 fxz, and everything reset and I erased all data/cache. When it came back up still no signal. so i thought sim card. I put the sim card in another phone and it worked fine. So I just flashed the 4.1.2, and no luck still.

Sounds to me like the radio is bad. I never had this issue with my bionic but I do remember seeing a few others with the same issue. I'm not sure if the HOB still has a radio portion or not.. Might want to do some checking over in the FAQ

Did you try flashing the radio from within the FXZ? If you did and it don't work afterwards then I would say its dead.

Put the phone in AP Fastboot mode, open a cmd prompt in the HoB directory and type the following:

.\utils\moto-fastboot flash radio 98.72.22_FXZ\radio.img

.\utils\moto-fastboot reboot

Note that 98.72.22_FXZ should be whatever directory name you used to install the FXZ into.

I am pretty sure I did everything right, but it didn't work. I also noticed that when I switched my sim card to my other phone. The phone didn't say anything about the sim card being missing.

Then you're looking at a hardware failure.  It happens.

Is there any way to replace the hardware for cheap? Or is that whole sim card section one solid piece?
