[2012-06-17]: Added Superuser.apk and removed scripts which didn't exist from updater-script (backuptool, finalizerelease)


What is this!?
This is a stock version of MotoBlur 6.16.211 -- setup as a flashable ROM for Safestrap (v2.00)

Why would you want this?
- Chances are you won't use this at all. This is for devs who want to start modding the stock ROM.
- In theory, you can install just the ROM update via Safestrap as each ICS leak hits and not worry about flashing the full OTA. No guarantees that this will continue to be the case tho.

What do I need to have installed to run this?
- You must be on one of the MotoICS leaks for the Droid RAZR (e.g. .79/.85/.2xx)
- Rooted
- Busybox
- Safestrap v2.00 for the ICS Leak

The only changes from stock are:
- I took the liberty of disabling "Qe" which logs all of the differences in the current OS compared to how it comes from Motorola. It's a lag monster on the bootup, and an invasion of privacy.
- Pre-rooted with su binary
- Updated busybox and symlinks in /system/xbin
- Configured for use w/ Safestrap
- Added Superuser.apk (2012-06-17)

I am assuming that from the top of the OP, this is actually a flashable Rom using the ICS safestrap 2.0 version, without having to go through all the other steps to install the other leaks that have been released. Please correct me if I'm wrong Mr. Hashcode :-)

No guarantees, as the kernel for. 79 is pretty far back.

I was telling Matt I had to learn up DSIXDA kitchen so I could make this very same thing. Thanks for this. Hopefully all of us with GB CDT.Bin can finally run the latest leaks and be able to successfully go back. Also, we can fastboot flash the 211 boot.img over a .79 (safestrap 2.0'd) and this (in theory) should be the answer. We should be able to boot with any boot.img I thought.

Unless I am missing something.

I aske Matt about flashing a 03 kernel and he said it might not downgrade. Do it at your own risk.

I thought as long as CDT.Bin wasn't flashed the Secure Level in the eFuse didn't change.

Done. Works flawlesly. To install su and busybox. Now we can play and test and break and fix and crash and FC. Yupiii.

I actually didnt put a backuptool.sh in there, but I wasnt getting any errors when I tested flashing it.

When I repost this tonight w/ the Superuser.apk, I'll take those lines out of the updater-script.

Is it possible to have 181 on the unsafe side and this on the safeside?

Using this in Safestrap requires you be on some version of the leak. Wont work if your on 181. And I havent heard back yet if this runs on .79
