Droid-Life says Verizon has said that 211 is the official ICS update.

I will believe it when my phone gets the ota update from Verizon. Not going to believe some outside source. Sorry, but its not www.droidrzr.com.

If you look at the link its docs straight from verizon saying that 211 is official

For anyone downloading from the links I just noticed that if you have dropbox yourself that you can save it to your dropbox. It may help with the download if dropbox decides to suspend the account now that tons of people know that .211 is official and will start the downloads.

Why does drop box do that? If there is a ton of people, it stops working....

To stop file distribution. The limit is high for normal use but low for stuff like this. It is a way to curve piracy and it saves them money since they pay transfer fees.

+1 in past experiences with these, this has been the case. There are those odd times where this don't hold true and things move fast but those are few and far between.

I've been part of soaks in the past, and I don't believe it ever started on a Sunday. Usually, it's before the weekend so people can play and report back after the weekend. Nothing is for sure though.

It was a Thursday for 181. 173 soak started on a Monday though so apparently there isn't a day of the week they prefer.
