That's how Motorola names updates. Where you were, not going to.Also, just curious, but is the download file for 211 accidentally name 181?

anyway back to a working phone I followed the steps to a letter and got the failure.. I also checked the download file against md5 so I know its good. So if it fails again can I go back to 181 or what should I do?
Ok I wiped factory data and cache and then rebooted into fastboot and recovery and the installation seems to have worked I'm waiting for it to boot up now

Not sure if this is relevant or not, but I had to factory reset after fastbooting 181 in order for 211 to flash. I kept getting sideload errors.
Good call, got it working for me, using the factory reset before side install

Fast boot to 181.
Root.
Down load a file manager. Es file explorer is free and easy to use.
Download rom manager free.
using file explorer, go to settings and enable root access, and make system writable.
Then copy the leak, and paste it to /cache.
open it from /cache with rom manager.
Enjoy :]

Now if I put this on my phone will I be forever stuck on this? Also wondering that when the new update rolls out finally if it'll download it automatically?
Forever stuck??? NEVER!! Not with the great Devs we have here... You will probably be able to download future updates as long as you don't root, load custom roms or remove any of the awesome bloatware. But why go that boring route.

Did this work for sure, straight from 181? Or do you need to flash some kernel, unstuck stuff too? Please provide more details. THanks.
