I think its just me but did data speed slow down a lot? No matter what ROM I can only get 7-10 mbs and when on gingerbread running aokp I was up to 40-45. JB have anything to do with it?

I could be wrong, hopefully someone else chimes in, but I believe the throttling software was put in ICS and up

I was throttled for mobile data before ICS. I think it's on the network side.

I know it sounds farfetched but I had a bionic and was checking 4G daily in my area. It was off the charts when they flicked it on. On off on off. About the 25/30 down and half that up.

It's now routinely and at all hours and with a population that goes from near lowest percentages in state to 2nd largest city in state during summer.... Same speed. A little better at house than cable 12/2 And around that but usually moderately faster at work (where we have access to higher Comcast speeds).

I think VZW's network is getting pretty saturated. I rarely get over 20mbps any more...

I'm from the internet and so can you!

I know the top 5% data users per tower get throttled to an extent, I'm thinking they took on more than they could handle. I think NT is right.

Droid Bionic on, whatever I feel like at the moment.

Saturated? Conjested is more like it lol. About a year ago I was pulling around 20-25 M/b down on lte, now I'm down to 12...even at night. Who knows, I might be on perma-throttle after that 12gb month a while ago.
