Is anyone able to get reasonable speeds with ClockworkMod's USB Tether app running on a Razr Maxx HD?  I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

For $10 Easytether was the solution that worked.  And I get higher bandwidth than the 10Mbps I was getting with the cable service we have at the house.  Not to mention that cable service is divided by 4 housemates.  Yeah!

 

(this was the reason I upgraded from the original 3G droid, so that I could use the 4GLTE speed capable with the Razr Maxx HD)

 

House dn/up was 10Mbps/1Mbps

Verizon 4GLTE (grandfathered unlimited plan) is 16Mbps/10Mbps

 

Wow!
