My question is, well first let me say I know a lot of people have run xt905 firmware on xt907 to debloat, also their firmware has a newer kernel version, but my question is, who has dug into the electrify M firmware? It has a much newer stock release than our firmware. It seems like the phones are literally identical, but would use different base bands, so I was thinking about trying to flash the /system and /boot partitions as I have an xt901 XML full sbf file. Has anyone ventured into this? Even if it didn't work, since I have a Verizon XML, and fast boot I don't think I could render my phone hard bricked. Let me know if you have any experience with this? PS. I also wanna clarify I'm a Verizon user so I'm not trying to do this to USE my xt907 on USC, I only want their newer stock firmware on my device. The! Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk

JAJAJA... now in all seriousness if you have unlocked bootloader you can pretty much do anything get a custom rom and flash only the system file and see what happen...

I thought exactly this, but most custom ROMs do not have a system file, as in .IMG, they have a decompiled folder. You can still flash that folder by fastboot flash system *.zip

Just in case anyone cares, this is a no-go. tried with both fastboot, and mfastboot. It reads the partition table isn't the same. so it won't let you flash.

If you can find a flashable zip of a stock rom it would probably work.
