Sorry if this has been covered before, I searched but couldn't find exact answer and I want to make sure I do this right because I feel like im skating on thin ice due to the state of my phone.

Basically I put SS 3.12 onto my XT926 running 9.18.79, 4.1.2.  and it installed fine, when I went to add Nexesque to ROM slot 1 I didn't really know what I was doing(never used SS) and killed the Stock ROM.

However, I was able to get Nexesque up and it runs great... it's just that when I go into SS and choose Stock it tells me no OS is loaded.  What is the best way to remedy this?  I have no problem starting from scratch if need be.

Could you please include links, I'm semi-noob at this, but can handle instructions/downloads fine.

A side question, since my stock rom is killed, how is SS even loading and booting this Nexesque ROM?  I thought SS used the original phone ROM to load the new stock ones you run in the additional slots?

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to get a grasp on how this program and process works.

Thanks for all the help guys!

JL

You'll have to use Matt's hd utility to flash back to stock since you wiped it out.

Oops. My bad. You DON'T want to use his utility since you are on the latest ota. Instead, find the house of moto thread and use that to flash back to stock. Sent from my Droid RAZR HD under an Eclipse.
