Link to ROM seems to be down or it could just be on my end.

It's working fine now. For some reason devs was slow as hell earlier.

Thanks. I've looked at the previous so called GSM fix/patch and all it was a few changes to build.prop and a (now outdated) apns-conf.xml.

So its not needed and doing a diff doesn't really show much.

I have an xt905 there arent many differences with the xt907 (apart from the LTE freq@700), I don't have LTE(4G) anyway..so..

xt905:

GSM 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS 850/900/1900/2100, LTE 1800/2600 - Market dependent

xt907

CDMA 800/1900, GSM 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS 850/900/1900/2100, LTE 700

I haven't checked this build but the previous sbuild (10/30) only showed the verizon APN's and I couldn't delete or edit them.

But you can select Celluar networks (GSM).

Is this build built straight up with only CDMA support? Is it possible to create a buid that supports both CDMA and GSM (if it doesn't already)? Thinking that the CM 10.1 build worked with the GSM Fix, I can't see why not. But for starters the default verizon APN's setup when you select a country other than the US is a problem.

Give me some pointers and I can't work on hacking the configs in this build - Because I'm thinking its rather trivial.

Thanks.

Joules.

(I'm a programmer/developer by trade but have a job and have very little time and on weekends - sorry)

Try the 10/10 build

.

Thats the earlest version that at least gives me something. Also check if you can import SIM contacts (this build can't read my SIM).

Flashed this yesterday, seems like a really good rom but wifi won't turn on. Just says turning on but never does, waited 5 minutes. Got 3g and 4g/lte is working though. Have to agree with ejass about enabling Nav bar by default.

Has there been an update on the issues mentioned in this thread?  Both this build and the one posted on xda-developers would get force closes on AOSP keyboard and the wireless would not be able to identify any networks (much less connect to them).

I also lost mobile service (no calls, texts, or data) and my IMEI/baseband version/ would be labeled as unknown, although there's a reasonable chance this was caused by careless file deletion on my part when making space on my external SD card.  This issue probably would have existed regardless of what ROM I flashed, although I didn't check.  I had to RSDLite back to stock, re-root, and re-install TWRP to fix this issue.

Is there an older, stable AOKP for the xt907?  I think I remember seeing it for 4.2.2 back in the day but I can't seem to find it.  Does anyone else have suggestions for other solid, stable ROMs with an emphasis on customization?

Thanks!

There's also a link to AOKP 4.2.2 August 9 release.

Ok guys, I apologize for the issues with the most recent builds (Wifi, LTE, etc). AOKP broke something and it took us a while to dig it up. I flashed this same build on my XT926 and it was all working fine. You shouldn't have any problems now. If there is, just let me know here and I will look into it right away. Thanks guys for your patience.

Aaaaaaacccccckkkkk
This is is the first AOKP ROM I've used, and i really, really like it.
Its the smoothest 4.3 rom I've used. But in the last 6 hours my phone has locked up and needed a reboot twice. I hate that. It's happened on every 4.3 ROM I've used and every time I've used Dynamic Notifications (which I'm not using now since Active Notifications is built in)
It's happened on CM10.1.3 but not as often.

Help meeeee.

Happily the 4.4 Roms have frozen less often, so that's promising, but I have other problems on those.

And sit tight, I'm working daily on getting this Rom working on this device for Android 4.4. It's coming!

Very cool. Any insights into why my phone or at least my screen seems to shut down and lock on most 4.4 and custom 4.3 ROMs? Only reason I wonder if it's just the screen and not the phone is that if I have a text or email waiting the led blinks but I can't wake the phone. Seems much less prevalent on CM 10.1.3 and recent CM 10.2 nightlies. Most searches usually result in "get a replacement" but I'm not ready to do that yet. Edit: lost 4g altogether last night or today. Swung by my local VZW store and got a new one. I'll see if that helps my shutdowns. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk

This rom is now deprecated. We will no longer be updating AOKP 4.3 (JB-MR2). If you wish to try the ALPHA 4.4.2 build,

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

. This will be updated regularly and as AOKP adds features, they will appear.
