So I have the XT926 and used the Motochopper exploit to root. The Verizon update hit my phone and failed. Now, I still have the SuperSu apk installed in the app tray and Rom toolbox with several apps frozen but I am unable to freeze or defrost the frozen bloat. Rootchecker.apk says that I am not rooted???? I checked the root directory which doesn't show SuperSu.apk in the system/app folder but su still shows under the system/bin and system/xbin folder. How do i get root back and/or delete root so that the update can go though??
Rooted now unrooted?

Are you saying that the OTA failed completely and didn't install? What version does your phone say you are on? If indeed the OTA didn't take, you can just try rerunning Motochopper again and that might fix it.
Otherwise, you might have to FXZ back to the version you're running and then rerun Motochopper.
But, if the OTA DID take (which is what it sounds like), and you didn't use Voodoo Rootkeeper, you might be out of luck until another exploit, if ever, is found.
Go to your Settings->About Phone and tell us what the System Version is. Hopefully, it's NOT 9.30.1. If it is, you are out of luck.

I am on 79 but unfortunately motochopper was unsuccessful in applying root. I tried twice and both times it says failed. Any other ideas? I'm not so much interested in updating anymore as i am more interested in regaining root.
