It appears you may have used the wrong fastboot method.......(omap vs snapdragon).... I would try again with the other fastboot method....... or try the RSD flashing method (included in HouseofMoto)

Oh well. I'm going to put her back on her commando for now. I will keep trying till the battery is dead then trashing it.

...yes, the phone can in-fact be completely wiped out, but I really don't think that it the case here....because that is something that you actually have to consciously do........

This is what's on the bottom of the AP fastboot screen. Maybe someone can make heads or tails from it.

It thinks that you have attempted to flash an older version than what you were on (that's the downgraded security version that is showing up)..... for the most part, after that, none of the others really matter (so to speak) because most everything will always fail after that one......

Actually, I am wondering if the wrong device firmware got flashed at one point.  The CID is a problem.

Invalid CID is bad.  I don't have a fix for that.

If you possibly grabbed a RAZR HD fxz instead of the Droid RAZR HD that would do it.

Just got off phone with Verizon and the phone Verizon had on file was a Samsung phone. How do you get Samsung registered when it's a RAZR hd? So, this answers this. When I took the update, the update was for a Samsung phone. But how do you get gsm update on verizon?
Secondly, 2 weeks ago my son had his Verizon account hacked. They bought 5 blackberries. He is fighting this one to.
I shut my line off and went to sprint. As soon as all lines are able to be shut down. We are gone.

The phone won't install it unless it is named the current version.

But you also said the update was "9.18 something" ..... that's Moto/Verizon numbering anyway...... its possible that the OTA was maybe only partially downloaded, corrupted within the phone's cache....

I've only seen the cid issue when the wrong device fxz was flashed before, but I am by far not all knowing ;)
