Here is another way to root the HD Maxx for 9.18.94
I tried it, it works and I'm really happy

It's not "another way". It's the exact same way just posted on a different site. LOL

im wondering ,what makes it so hard if it has been done before? . i have rooted the 9.30.1 people can make safeboot and all that and nobody will find a way to unlock the bootloader for ver.9.30.1 when it has been done before?? is it that hard to find a way around the patch even when their ii has been done before. motopokalypse . i would think it would be just as hard as being able to achive root . IDK much about this stuff although i too would put in $50 so i think were somewhere around 700-800 if all thos people would still want to install kitkat on their Droid Razr HDs.

Sam, i know if anyone would know if my theory would work, it would be you...so here is my thought: is it concievable to flash (really fxz) the canadian UMTS xt925 fxz, unlock using motos own BL unlock, then flash back retaining an unlocked bootloader? (And im pretty sure this wont work without modding several things prior, so NO ONE try this and blame anyone. but in all seriousness, can a modded fxz flash a BL or am i dreaming? I think to root on the crappy droid x via an alltel milestone x fxz and seriously wonder how bad it could frack things up. Well, that versus the potential reward. Im waiting on moto to send the hd maxx i was given that still had 2 weeks of warranty and a cracked lcd (inner only). I dont know if it was updated, bc i mailed it out as soon as i had it, and im preparing for the worst. I realize BL is a totally different level of software, and likely, it wont work, but i am trying to hope.

Do you think it's possible to downgrade the entire chain of trust that trustzone is in to a version with which the motopocalypse exploit will work?
