dhacker29 on Twitter has been toying around with the Jelly Bean source and said that he has Jelly Bean running on the RAZR... well adb at least. Still working on getting the screen though. Here's the tweet and follow him for his progress.

"And JB boots on Droid Razr have adb no screen yet lol" -- (@dhacker29)

Everything has to start somewhere! Sounds like good progress to me. Can't wait to see what happens with it

I imagine that this is a result of JB making it into AOSP.

Seems extremely smooth, even with the screen tearing and being in Alpha. Looking forward to a full release of Jelly Bean for the RAZR.

Back to my AOKP ICS in the mean time :)

Yes, it's definitely not prime time yet or even a low end daily driver, but it does run. No gapps included and I've had some issues accessing the internal sdcard, but it runs.

Its gonna be a long process so don't hold your breath because of lock bootloaders we can't get the kernal or radio's which will be important for data, wifi, bluetooth and some other important stuff damn u big red unlock the bootloader already. Big red won't do it cause the razr hd will come with jelly bean and if u get your maxx with fully functional jeally bean u just might keep your money and not purchase the razr hd which is basically the same phone with lil upgrades and soft keys
