I tried to flash the motorola launcher that came with the arctic 211 the inc the included launcher. It didn't work when I flashed it twice through safestrap. anyway I can get back to the stock launcher so I can get my widgets back such as favorite contacts?

I glad you all are enjoying it. @pitbull why would you flash a moto launcher over this one? you just need to go and reflash this rom to fix that. At least that will be the easiert

I factory wiped, data, cache, delvic, formatted system so I don't think i missed anything on the install, but ill reflash anyways. System says arctic 2.2. Is this the newest/correct rom you are telling me to reflash?

Oh and I use favorite contacts. Don't see that widget now, so I figure why not flash it. In the arctic 211 rom moto ics launcher was included as an add on because quote some people didn't like to use trebuchet. Don't like the Google search bar either.

So I'm ready to give .215 a shot - but it now has the CPUsleep integrated. when I used it by adding it, the phone seemed to hesitate upon waking - and the quadrant scores dropped to 2100. I'm regularly pulling 3200 right now, with 50hours battery life (on Maxx).

Is there a way to disable CPU sleep if I run into problems again? Should I be as concerned with quadrant scores?

I wouldn't be concerned with the quadrant scores as much, the cpu sleep shuts one core down when not needed to save battery. But i'm sure if you don't want it you could disable it with root explorer or some other file manager.

You can get that clock from the market. It's an app called one more clock widget, I think the name is chrome rings.

I'm assuming arctic215 will work well with the newest kernel and radio from the stock 6.16.215 leak, right?

Is anyone running the 214 or 215 updates experiencing lots of duplicate messages from the AOSP messaging app? I was reading that this issue may be more related to the carrier more than anything but I currently get a lot of duplicates (probably every third message comes in twice.) I've just dealt with it thus far because the nuisance is worth running the ROM, but if anyone knows a way to minimize this or experiences it less (or not at all) on the newer versions, please let me know.

This issue is related to the 4G network. Disabling 4G will stop the duplicates.

I tested this way because I noticed a ton of lag during normal use after enabling it and rebooting.
