I got one issue. I accidentally uninstalled YouTube. How do I get it back? Play store says incompatible update.

I have been running this Rom for about 5 days before I noticed I had some Gapps that needed updated from the market I had the same issue when trying to install them also mine said not signed, I tryed everything to get them to install the update my last option was to start all over in which I ended up doing I re-flash the rom but before I booted I wiped cache, dalvik cache, again then installed Gapps, after rebooting and doing the setup I went back into the market I clicked the gapps that needed the updates Maps, Gmail, Street view on google maps, and youtube, all worked except youtube so I went back and rebooted still said the same incompatible update, so I wiped cache, dalvik cache, installed the gapps again, rebooted then it worked, that was my experience.

Just install safestrap 2.0, wipe cache, dalvik and data (for best results) and then flash the rom. No need to unroot/unfreeze

Can someone confirm that the blur messaging app can handle group texting properly (not like handcent where you have to click a message like 5 times for it to appear in its proper spot). And if so how to I get the right apk on my phone?

In stock I was able to add ICE (in case of emergency) contacts in my phone if the phone was locked by a password this is gone now Is there an .apk I can use to change the lockscreen to be able to have the ICE button when the phone is used by a password.

I use the blur txt mess apk it's working fine group etc. I had to freeze the txt apk that comes with artic I think it's the stock ics one to stop double txts.

I would backup external card. I think its safer than internal plus you can switch memory cards to another phone and keep your backed up apps

DSP Manger does not work with the razr maxx does it, mine seems to do squat do I really even need it installed in my phone or any music players i dont use , I have poweramp installed now, I've used beatsaudio on another phone and beats just blows poweramp away, wish I could get beatsaudio to work on my maxx I've tryed it but didnt work not unless I did something wrong and didnt install it right, anyone have it installed in there maxx? also what music player you are using with it if so can you walk me through to getting it installed and working.

Thanks for the suggestion, but no luck. Yes, my issue is the permission requests error. It's saying it can't connect to the account still after flashing gapps. Am I the only one with this issue?

You need to uninstall dsp manager then install the beats apk. That's what i had to do..

In the OP is states if you are having problems to flash it, I'm sure that's why some are. I know I had to cause I kept getting a signed error when updating. once I flashed it I was good to go....

Where do I update the Maps and Gmail application linked to the market? Why did it update fine when I flashed Gapps rather than using the built in?

I find that the voice input (mic) key doesn't show up in the default keyboard. Is this normal? I have tried turning off and on the voice input key setting under motorola input setting, but it made no difference. Any idea whats wrong, and how I can fix it? Perhaps I need another copy of the keyboard and the voice search apps? Thanks!

Other than that, this ROM is working great for me -- really fast and stable! Had to use system app mover to uninstall and then reinstall some of the Gapps to get updates, but its all good now.

Crud, well I tried the SafeStrap life, and got burned with errors during restore. Even full wiping and restoring from nand backup, either system or data wouldn't take. Going back to bootstrapping and the new touch recovery. Just plain damn TIRED or rebuilding the phone. Mind you, ArcticIce is one cool ROM...very! Superb place to start a Razr.
