Why does my DSP app never work with my headphones? I don't think it works at all! I'm a sound engineer so sometimes I feel the need to eq and or compress some tunes....

Currently I'm running my xt926 on cm11. My DSP hasn't worked with my headphones on any ROM though... Just to clarify, "headset" is the same as headphones? Those are the settings I've tried to change...
