Need a rom where pretty much everything works. I want a rom that is stable. And also I am looking for a smooth/fast rom that also has good battery life. Any suggestions or recommendations?

There are toms of these threads. Trial and error is the best way. I like koa ROMs, cm is ICS and based more on stability. Aokp is based more on features. Both are stable. Miui I like a lot but it is extremely unstable for me. Some are based off of motoblur.

Don't expect any extremely useful responses to this sort of question, as personal opinion is a huge factor in ROM preference. Due to the locked bootloader extreme differences in quality between ROMs becomes less likely. Essentially, all ROMs can be broken down into two categories...

1) Blur based : Built from a MotoBlur release. These versions SHOULD be the most stable as their base was designed specifically for the included kernel, and will account for the latest radio and kernel changes.

2) Community based : ROMs built from a CM9 or AOKP base. CM9 will provide the widest range of general Android features, while AOKP will be closer to Google's own design (AOSP). These ROMs will be closer to Google's current design, and sometimes even more advanced due to the huge community of devs working together. However, these have no direct tie to Motorola, and as such get no intended support by the kernel or radios. They depend on getting information from the latest Blur releases to be updated to be fully compatible with the latest driver and firmware upgrades.

Arctic is likely the most popular Blur based ROM, CM9/AOKP each provide a very wide range of ROMs with Full Throttle likely being the apparently most actively discussed ROM recently here. Then there is Nitro busting out Eclipse which is always based on his own creation made by combining every possible resource imaginable to try and provide the best of both worlds (although this results in the need for much more testing and slower releases). The community in general seems to have Arctic, Eclipse, Infektion (DroidTh3ory@DroidHive), and Liquid (RootzWiki, unsure of author) as the most popular ROMs overall.

Blur.6.16.215.XT912.verizon.en.us has everything you're asking for.........
Yeah........

If you want a rom that is as solid as stock though but has more ASOP stuff, go with Eclipse. But what you asked for is what Motorola put on your phone.

Liquid (RootzWiki, unsure of author) as the most popular ROMs overall.

The last time I saw a rom called liquid was a few days ago, and it was on dhackers twitter and on rombot.droidhive

I think you mixed up CM9 and AOKP. AOKP has more customization and features, while CM9 is more straight Google AOSP

I tried the 215, I had too many issues with data connection and wifi on it for some reason. I reverted back to 211. Thank you for the advice. I heard good stuff about Eclispes. I know that there will never be a rom that's perfect but less bugs is more better for me lol.
