I was sitting on my bed, phone was next to me (I was not screwing around). Screen lit up and I noticed there was a red ? over the battery.  I took a screenshot in case anyone is curious. I googled around and found that a few folks had problems with a bad battery. Then the red ? disappeared. Just in case, I restarted the phone. Everything seems alright, I turn the screen off. Next thing I know, it restarts itself but before it could get through saying "droid" it just died. I turned it back on normally and everything seems fine now. Thoughts?

Bootloader is locked, but I am rooted, if that makes a difference.

When you plug it in, do you get a charging indication?

Can it be the new update?

It's the first time it happened and I took the new update at least a month ago.It seems to have charged alright last night. I think it drained a bit more than usual today considering I haven't used it but it is still at 70%.

I will if it happens again. I was just wondering if this was common for this model. I am nearing 1 year with the phone so I could still swap it for another one under warranty if the battery is on the verge of failing.
