An update is available but is somewhat more complicated to get working. It adds another governor and the lowest clock frequency is set to 196MHz. It undervolts and seems to stabilize performance. My phones temp never passes 35 Celsius anymore. Just keep in mind its more difficult to get working and isn't for the faint of heart. Check it out at

This is not my work. All credit goes to Whirleyes at the XDA and HSD-Pilot for making the Easy-er install method.

I posted links last night for this. U must get setvesel and drop to 58-52 then apply for the over clock to be stable

hotplug is needed while u run the overclock script but after that, you can use any gov u want. i find hotplug to be the best. better then hotplugx as it seems to be unstable and i get better performance from it anyway. i keep it at 1ghz because i get the performance i want from apps and save some battery. i really just wanted an overclocked gpu haha. the developer said he haan updated oc coming soon with undervolting so it should help further. sorry for the sloppy typing im on my razr in the middle of walmart lol.

your phone could be overheating and downclocking itself. it what makes the most sense to me. use setcpu or whatever u like and clock it to max 1000mhz. i say this because apps wont suffer performance loss and u save some battery. the gpu will be overclocked and games will run better too. so its a win win.

try keeping the script in the downloads folder or in its own overclock folder away from the libs. it might help but smanager should have root so it should be able to find the file in system libs. then again smanager isnt a file browser.

did you put fumoto.ko in the correct place? it should go in " System/libs/module" folder when you run the script its looking for that file in a particular place. and if u have trouble placing the file in the folder. use root explorer and mound the folder as r/w so u can paste the file. otherwise itll give u some permission error. Sorry for the confusion someone else could help explain with far more grace then I

ps: this should work on global razrs too.

What he said lol. If u have all the files in the correct place use smanager and find ur default and 1350 scripts. If u put them in ur extsd or wherever u put it. Run the default script first. Make sure su is highlighted. Then do the same for 1350 script. U should be good to go then

Put the Scripts 1350mhz & Default on your SD and use an Root Explorer to put the fumoto.ko in your System/libs/modules -folder

This makes it sound like fumoto just needs to be in the libs/modules and the scripts can be anywhere, Am I wrong?

The funmoto goes into system/lib/modules the CPU scripts go to ext-sd but the other 2 zips must be flashed in recovery
