I screwed up my root droid razr m. I thought it was no problem to delete apk's so I moved all my system apk's to Box.com. I'm not bricked but my phone can't get passed the boot screen. My computer can't even access my phone files. I can't even get into recovery. Any suggestions? I have everything backed up in several areas but can't access anything.

If you moved all system apk's off the phone then you basically have no system for it to boot...... You will need to flash system via fastboot or use the house of moto found here

to FXZ to get your system back

Thanks! I will give it a shot as soon as I get the right cable. I just bought a data sync cable off Ebay. The cables I have won't let me install the driver for some reason.

All you really need is the OEM cable that came with your phone :):)

I am not completely convinced that I am doing something wrong. There are 4 FXZ files that pertain to my xt907. I have tried them all. On 3 of them, I get an error message "CRC failed in....File is broken". The fourth one extracted fine, but when I run the .bat file and enter my phone, I receive "File not found". So I figured I would try to re-download the FXZ. But now I can't access the sbf.droid-developers page anymore. Is there another way to install the FXZ files? Perhaps it's been the developer's page that isn't working for me and has corrupted xt907 files? Finally, could it be a problem with Firefox?

It is entirely possible.  I have let them know that the SBF site is down.  I also have been trying to  upload the 94 update to the DRDevs site but am having login issues.  If that gets fixed, I will get it uploaded for you.

Thanks for trying. But it still says CFC file is broken. It's just that 1 error I can't seem to get past.

But I did try to execute the .bat anyway. My phone got the sound back but still stuck on boot screen.

I googled this and there are some interesting results, if you have not did a Google search you might want to try, but I am sure you have already, but if not, give it a try maybe it might make sense. Otherwise, just nevermind me because I am too eager. Weeeeeeeeeeeee

Thanks guys. I will give both a try. I did Google search last night, and basically older solutions that weren't really applicable.

My upload was bad. Sorry about that. Grab the one from sbf and you should be golden. I will fix mine later today.

Well the sbf worked. But now I have a low battery. I asked someone about a data cable previously, because I knew I needed something. However, I inquired about the wrong thing. I guess I need a different kind of cable.

I hate to be a bother, but do I need the factory adapter, the programming cable, or both?
Thanks
