Hi,

 

Im Carlos from mexico, i have a motorola razr xt 925 hd, my actual carrier is telcel, i was looking for unlock my phone, i already buy a unlock code but i cant put it in because the number pad to join it dont appear, so.. i made some research and found telcel had like an additional protection to this things so i have to change the firmware of the phone then the phone gonna let me put the unlock code.

 

I just have one problem... i dont know how to change the firmware lol

 

if someone here could help me to do it or know another solution to my problem i gonna thank a lot for the help.

 

one more thing... sorry for my spelling mistakes i usually dont practice my english.

Well not sure it would work, but you could try to flash another carriers files, unlock and then flash back to telcel. Post over in the 925 forum and see what some others might suggest.

thats exactly what i need to do but i dont know how... do you know or have a tutorial to change firmware? i tryied to do something with ROMs and i root my phone but im not sure if a ROM is same than a firmware. im a little confused.
