I replaced the lcd/digitizer on a Razr Maxx XT912. The repair went smoothly, and I was careful not to bridge the battery connectors when removing and reinstalling the battery. But now the phone won't boot.
This is a customer's phone, so I don't have an original Moto charger. The battery was about half-way charged when I began the repair.
When I plug it into one of my chargers, It usually flashes the white light, then the light goes off and does nothing. I've tried a reboot, a fastboot, but neither have gotten the phone to boot back up.
I'm leaving it on a charger overnight, and have already ordered a replacement battery, as I've read here that battery failure is a pretty common problem when phones have these symptoms.
The customer said he hasn't had any problems with the phone charging, and said he only needs to charge it once every two days.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
