Hey, I just bought a pre-owned razr m. It's locked and not rooted. The installed fw was 98.16.3.xt907.verizon.en.us. I downgraded it to 98.15.66.xt907.en.us with droid razr m utility 1.20. Now the root process succeed. So motochopper root exploit works. The motocalypse app is also installed correctly. The unlock process on the phone succeeds too. After I finally install cwm or twrp and want to go in recovery I get an error: 0x56. The fastboot screen says that it's still locked. So can somebody give me a hint? I want to unlock the boatloader. Can't unlock the boatloader officially... That sucks. :/

You can't unlock since the phone was already updated to .3.  You're lucky you were even able to flash down to .66.  .3(.78) was supposed to have a security patch that would prevent that.  That being said, once you update, the trust zone is patched.  Even if you flash backwards, you still won't open the TZ.

edit:  I think the 0x56 error is because you tried to downgrade.  Are you sure you have .66 running?

Yes I downgraded it. But I'm not the first one. The error comes when I flash cwm and reboot to recovery. So now I have a razr I with a poor community and a razr m with a locked boatloader... Nice :D Edit: Ok. Due to factory resetting gives same error in bl, I think you're right. 0x56 comes from downgrading. And yes the current fw running on my mobile is .66. It boots and runs normally, except the bl issue.
