Hey everyone, I'm a little stumped on this one.  Carrier unlocking is a whole new thing for me.  I'll most likely be traveling to Guam sometime in the near future.  I'm going to be there for a while and I would like to have cell service back to the Mainland US.  I've researched the prepaid providers on island and all of them have some sort of plan with Mainland calling.  However, as we all know, GSM is locked on the M if you use it the States and you have to unlock it with RadioComm and/or build.prop edits.  With that being said, do you think the phone will still be locked in Guam, or should just be able to plug a sim in and go?  There is no VZW service on island, so that's out of the question.  I looked quite a while trying to find a clear cut answer, but couldn't get anything.  Maybe I should call VZW and ask them?  I just wanted to get you all's input, first.  Also, should I use the RadioComm edit or the build.prop edit posted here

When I spoke to vzw about a year and a half ago about the same area..... They said it will work with a "local" Sim (prepaid service).......

Thanks, I'll shoot you a message if anything comes up. I was actually there for about 45 days a few years ago. I'm sure it's changed quite a bit even since then. After getting lost for a while, though, I did manage to find the track and watch some island drifting at its best.😉
