Hi

Hope I would get some help from the experts who are around this DroidRzr website.

Its been 10 Days I am trying out solve this issue. I have very less knowledge on Android OS, So please don't mind if I am worng.

I have Motorola Razr HD XT926 with

System Version 9.18.94.XT926.Verizon.en.US

Android Version 4.1.2

Build Number 9.8.1Q-94

I am using a GSM network as I am Outside USA

Problem:

I was going through a setting " *#*#4636#*#* " and unknowingly I selected USA BAND in the RADIO BAND settings. With that the phone network is not showing up. I have searched on the internet and forums. But there were no solutions available.

So I decided to Root my device, Unlock Bootloader  and then to put a CM or BeanStalk Rom so that all the settings would get reset.

- I successfully Rooted my device

-Unlocking bootloader was unsuccessful. [I read that my version can not be unlocked].

So I am stuck up here.

Please give me any solutions for my problem. I would like to know

1. Are there any other solution to solve the network issue with out unlocking or having a custom ROM ?

2. If I need to Flash all the data and put a custom Rom can I have a Custom Rom without unlocking the bootloader ?

If yes please let me know the process.

Thanks. :)

To "reset" the device to it's factory state, look up house of moto on here and READ the op and the thread. Find the correct fxz file as indicated and flash the device.

I have reset the Phone with Soft reset and Hard Reset process but there was no change with the settings .

You need to flash the FXZ with HoM or RSD, to fully reset the phone back to stock.

Okay but in the firmwares listed on the site FXZ  there are only for system versions 9.30.1 or 9.20 or 9.16

9.30.1.XT926 is Motorola Razr HD MAxx . But My phone has 9.18.94.XT926

but the buld number is same. I just need a confirmation, if I Flash the FXZ( 9.30.1) will that support to my version. If yes then I will do it and let you know the status. As I am worried if it gets bricked.
