I can get the screen to go black, it just turns back on after I plug it in

I've been charging my battery as for like half an hour, the battery status is "OK"

should I try it now?

Are you plugging into the wall? I would give it more time to charge.  You're going to need all the battery you can get, especially if you run into more issues.  Like Sam said, just breath a little.  We'll get this worked out.

This. You want to make sure it's fully charged before starting again. Once it's charged, flash the script that Kaos posted with the 9.30.1 FXZ. If it fails do not panic and post the contents of the swdl txt file from your rsd folder. We will analyze it and help you fix it.

Plugged it into the wall, I'll charge it all day before I do anything, it wont turn off so I'm just charging it with that menu open. Do I hold the power for like a minute or something because I've been holding it for like 5

Thank you very much, I'll try it when I get home today, since I'm about to go to school and what are the chances of this failing?

I'm sorry if I keep panicking, I'm just really paranoid in general and I'll continue the process when i get home.

Don't worry about it. We'll get it fixed but you gotta do one step at a time. If it fails, report back and we'll help with the next step. It can be fixed for sure.

For those that don't want/need the full House of Moto, I've created a small RSD Script Generator that will quickly generate RSD scripts for FULL, KEEP DATA, and UNIVERSAL (does not flash TZ and GPT partitions in addition to keeping data). Flash the script you want with RSD.

It should shut down in about 30 secs.  Maybe the flash fails have messed this up, but I'm not sure.

Alright, battery status is at "OK"

Can I have a quote to the script I need to use with rsd?

What version of RSD do I need?

Don't know.  You definitely have to fix that before this'll work OR you can order a team blackhat adapter here:

Then you can avoid this battery stuff permanently.

If you continue to try to flash with a low battery, the results are going to be spectacularly bad.  No one can help you until you fix that so there's no need to post that it failed again when it inevitably does.

Warranty fraud?  Awesome.    Not taking responsibility for what you did to your phone is not something anyone here is going to support.

Or, you know, get the adapter I sent you a page for that costs what, 10 bucks?  Or fix the battery issue.  There are ways to fix your phone.  Sending it back to VZW and telling them that the OTA broke it when that is not what happened is not really the way to go and why warranties suck these days.

No, that's what you said.  Sam said it would be warranty fraud because you tried to install the OTA in an unofficial way and you want to try to get a warranty replacement by blaming it on the OTA.
