NOTE: This tool is no longer supported.  I have merged the functionality of script generation into the

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

tool.  That tool now gives you the option to generate scripts and automatically flash or not....thus making this tool redundant.  I will leave the downloads here in case someone still wants to use this tool, but, I am no longer updating or supporting it.

Please do yourself a favor and read, read again, and read one more time before installing and using this tool.  If it's set up correctly, it's very easy to use.  But if you don't follow directions, it'll either not work or not do what you expect.  Failure to read and follow the directions is NOT a defect of the tool!

Mission statement for tool:

This tool generates scripts that can be used with RSD ONLY.  This tool will generate FULL, KEEP-DATA, and for some devices, UNIVERSAL RSD scripts that can be used with your FXZ and flashed in RSD.

(NOTE: This is a JAR file, NOT a ZIP file...if your browser downloads it as a ZIP, it's WRONG)

Install:

o) Install the latest Moto USB Driver

o) Install RSD Lite if you've not done so already

o) Copy the jar to your extracted FXZ folder.

NOTE: You *MUST* have the Java runtime installed.  It must be Java 7 (or higher).

USAGE:

o) The jar file is an executable jar.  If you have your JVM setup correctly, you should just be able to run it like any other program.  If you do not have your JVM setup correctly, you should fix that.    :)

o) Press the button to select your FXZ's xml file.  It will look something like VRZ_XT926_9.8.1Q-79-1_CFC.xml but specific to your FXZ.

o) Press the Generate Scripts button

The generated scripts can then be flashed using RSD Lite.

Updated for new xt907 and xt926 FXZ's.  The universal script will no longer contain the GPT partition.  Idiots changed the name of the file on me.

Yea, if the phone booted correctly, you can unplug it and close RSD.

How would I update just the bootloader so that I can install the newer nightly builds off cm11?

That's what I figured, was just referred to this topic from my other one in Razr M general discussion. The bootloader is just the boot.img file from an update, right? I could just fastboot flash the boot.img to update bootloader?

Updated version to add FULL option to FXZ's that are shipping by default as "KEEP DATA".  What I mean is that for the 2013 Droid's 4.4.4 FXZ, they shipped the XML without the erase userdata option.  This is great, but, if you want to do an actual full, you have to add that line back in.  The RSD Generator now does that.

Actually, now that I've thought about it, this product is history.  See here:
