Hello! So I bought a used/like-new Razr Maxx HD a few months ago - clean, pre-rooted. I don't know anything about rooted/rooting phones so the function was more or less wasted on me. It was a Verizon device which I had unlocked for use on AT&T's H2O network and things were just fine until the phone tried to update to KitKat this morning from Jelly Bean. The device shut down to reboot and the train stopped there. The big red M. Dead robot.
Utterly clueless, I tried the utility I came across in the forums here and it kept failing.
Any ideas? Where do I go from here? I already caved and bought a used Razr M (also an unlocked Verizon phone) since I didn't have a back-up phone, so no rush or anything ;P
Wiped/Corrupted OS, Maxx HD won't boot after update. Help me save my phone!
