I have searched several forums and can't find an answer so I will just ask. After updating to the official KK with an unlocked BL, custom recovery installed and root achieved is it still possible to flash custom ROMs? The reason I ask is because I've tried a few with the KK CWM recovery and gotten a status 7 error.

Ok thanks. I also noticed for anyone else experiencing problems with the KK CWM, that you cannot mount or wipe data at first. I was able to fix this by doing a factory reset from settings and then immediately rebooting onto CWM. Now I can backup, mount, and wipe just fine.

Correct. The cwm for kk looks for your data partition to be f2fs and it will not be until you format your data partition.
