What up guys, decided to join the forum after digging around for some ROM information.  I have the Razr Maxx HD running 4.1.2 with 9.18.94 system version.  Can't take the OTA 4.4.2 update because i removed bloatware and i think some system apps with titanium backup and didn't bother creating a backup.  So anways that leads me to here, seraching for some alternative ways to mix up my phone.  Unfortunatley my bootloaders are locked so that puts me in a tighter bind.  So hopefully with some more digging i find a solution.

Cya around the forums.

to upgrade to KK, BUT BE WARNED - there is no root for the KitKat build and no way to get there and save root.

Excellent thanks for the reply and the link.  Is it really worth upgrading to stock kitkat.  I only rely on root access on rare occasions so loosing root for a better running phone is a compromise i could live with.  But from everything i hear the stock OTA version of KitKat is horrible on the Maxx HD.  Curious what others think.
