I recently flashed cyanogenmod to my droid razr m and found that wifi wasnt working. After some research I came across a webpage telling me to flash a modem file and then reflash cyanogenmod. I did just that and now it wont turn on, no notification light either. All I have to know its alive is the sound my computer makes when I plug it in. Any ideas how i can fix this?

Does it turn on if you hold volume down and press power? And if you connect it to your computer and go to device manager, what is your phone named?

I do hear that it resets by pressing volume down and power but the screen nor the light turn on. Just the connection sound.  And where exactly should it be located in my device manager? Im having a hard time finding one device a midst all the others.

I downloaded USBDeview and it seems my phone is listed as QHSUSB_DLOAD or Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008.

Any idea?  And I did backup my phone so reflashing and formating is an option.

What exactly did you flash? That is an indication of a hard-brick.

I flashed the modem file to fix my wifi and then the newest cyanogenmod release for my phone.

No need, but whatever you flashed turned your phone into a brick. What's the file name? I'll wait for a second opinion, but I'm pretty sure having your phone show up like that indicates a bad thing.

This indicates that your phone is PERMANENTLY bricked with no coming back from that. :(

That file is for the Oppo Find 5, not a Razr M. Like Sam said, you're hosed.

Buy a new phone.  Not trying to be a pain in your ass, but, that's seriously permanently bricked. I've never seen one recover from that state.

Buy a new phone. Not trying to be a pain in your rear end, but, that's seriously permanently bricked. I've never seen one recover from that state.

...and make sure you know what files you are flashing on your new phone.😉
