RSD Flasher 2.1 released

o) Not showing UNIVERSAL option for FXZ's with a motoboot partition as trying to downgrade those devices will result in a brick (looking at you Moto X and most likely unlocked 2013 Droids, too)

Yea, well, this thing is only in beta still.  Trying to get the kinks worked out so I can relax for a while. This tool has essentially replaced the House of Moto for Windows users so I want it working perfectly.  And so far it is...the functionality hasn't changed since day 1.  It's just adding all the error checking, user interface tweaks, etc to make it more user friendly.  I think it's pretty close now.  I have a few more tweaks to the UI I want to make before I take it out of beta, though.

The wife had some software to install from verizon that refused to install due to root.  This tool in any of the jar versions performs with out question.  Great tool from start to finish.  BTW I found the software she wanted to installed (isis wallet) could be fooled into installing by going into SU and disabeling it.  After install back in and enable it and its back in business.

Now about the spinning thingamajig??

a friend of mine has a locked xt926 that was on the latest Verizon OTA and it won't boot anymore. It just goes to AP Fastboot and says "Load kernel (boot) Failed".  Tried using this but RSD Lite says "Failed to switch to fastboot mode".  Any ideas? It's already in fastboot mode...

There should be more information on the fastboot screen.  Does it show the usb cable connected,  Having the factory cable and connect to a USB 2 port is also necessary.

AP Fastboot says USB is connected and RSD recognizes it but when I run the script it fails and RSD says it fails to boot to AP Fastboot even though it's already in fastboot.  USB 2.0 and OEM cable are being used as well.

What, EXACTLY, are you trying to flash?  The file, I mean.

Definitely what's causing the problem.  You have more than one device connected.  Don't do that.  :)

Bluestacks emulates a device as well as eclipse. Even if you tried out blue stacks and uninstalled, the emulation driver could still be there.

RSD Lite certainly disagrees with you on the more than one device issue.  :)

I would unhook the phone and bring RSD back up again to see if it shows anything still hooked up.

Thanks Droidrzr for the continued support of my family and a special thank you to Kaos and Kelly....

Google pixel 32 gig....
